About The Position

The Lead Painter maintains the hotel's physical property and furnishings to luxury-hotel standards, performing painting, refinishing, repair, and wall-covering work. The role also helps maintain shop stock and inventory and assumes a supervisory role for the department's painters. The Lead Painter must complete work safely, thoroughly, and on time; keep the work area clean and organized; and uphold Four Seasons' professional standards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
Good communication skills and oral and written proficiency.
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
Maintain the physical property and furnishings to the standards of a luxury hotel.
Repair and refinish woodwork.
Patch and paint interior and exterior surfaces.
Repair plaster and stucco.
Install and repair vinyl and paper wall coverings.
Repair and refinish furniture.
Maintain shop stock and inventory.
Assume a supervisory role for the painters in the department.
Keep brushes and rollers in good condition.
Complete assigned work safely and thoroughly, using safety precautions with tools, chemicals, ladders, and other potentially dangerous equipment or supplies.
Complete assigned projects in a timely fashion.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Conduct oneself professionally and reflect Four Seasons' standards.
Handle and immediately report any accident, no matter how minor.
Maintain good working relationships with other employees.
Respond properly to hotel emergencies and safety situations.
Perform other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff.
