About The Position

PuroClean Restoration Specialists is looking for a Lead Pack-Out Technician to take ownership of our contents projects and help lead our pack-out team. When someone has water, fire, or mold damage, their home may be torn apart and their belongings need to be carefully packed, documented, cleaned, stored, and eventually returned. Our customers are often overwhelmed. We need someone who can walk into that situation, connect with the customer, earn their trust, and confidently lead the process.

Requirements

• Self-directed; does not need constant supervision once scope and expectations are understood.
• Sense of urgency; understands that restoration work needs to happen promptly.
• Warm and comfortable with people; can explain processes, answer questions, and build trust.
• Detail-oriented; values labels, inventories, photos, documentation, and organization.
• Process-oriented; prefers and follows systems consistently.
• Takes ownership of projects and pays attention to details.
• Can lead a team while also being willing to work alongside them.
• Proactive in noticing and addressing issues.
• Able to stay calm and organized in high-pressure situations with many moving parts.

Nice To Haves

• Restoration experience is not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pack-out process from beginning to end.
• Walk projects and understand the scope of work.
• Communicate with homeowners and gain their confidence in our process.
• Lead the pack-out team and keep the project moving.
• Carefully pack and protect customers' belongings.
• Photograph, label, inventory, and track contents.
• Transport contents to and from our warehouse.
• Clean and deodorize contents affected by water, smoke, soot, or other contaminants.
• Maintain accurate job documentation.
• Ensure the office has the information needed to bill accurately and promptly.
• Keep customer contents separated, labeled, and organized in our warehouse.
• Lead pack-backs and ensure customers' belongings are returned to the proper locations.
• Identify problems early and communicate them before they become bigger problems.
