Valar Atomics is hiring a Lead OT Engineer to own the fuel program’s daily operational technology work plan, team workload, and delivery commitments at its Orangeville, Utah site. The role keeps local installation, testing, and maintenance aligned with manufacturing needs and supports dependable handoffs with the Torrance team. OT Engineering delivers power and rack infrastructure, compute, networks, identity, security, operational data, and industrial software platforms. The FactoryTalk scope covers backend deployment, configuration, integration, and recovery. The position requires disciplined task tracking, sound prioritization, reliable documentation and follow-through, and practical direction as production, maintenance, and site priorities change. The role also involves managing contractors, coordinating local and cross-site work, and carrying tasks through testing, documentation, and operational turnover, while obtaining required engineering and acceptance decisions. Valar Atomics describes itself as a startup focused on scalable clean, high-temperature nuclear power. Its first pilot plant is in Orangeville, Utah. The company offers competitive base salary, equity, medical benefits, unlimited PTO, free daily lunch, a PPE stipend, and opportunities for ownership and career growth. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
