As a Lead Optical Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring exceptional service, and contributing to high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through your leadership and retail experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Experience working in retail, customer service, or sales
Ability to correctly read and interpret prescription specifications and input into the computer to ensure lenses are cut properly

Nice To Haves

Experience in the optical industry
Experience in a lead or management position

Responsibilities

Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
Ensure lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription information for lens processing.
Dispense completed glasses to patients and educate them on proper care.
Assist the management team with opening and closing the store.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies.
Compute and process payment transactions/refunds using the Point of Sale system.
Perform administrative tasks, including processing insurance claims and maintaining patient files.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist with stocking and straightening merchandise.
