Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP enabled supply chain, distribution systems, or system integration roles
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting SAP iDOCs and transactional system integrations
  • Experience supporting operational reporting, analytics, or KPI governance (Power BI or similar tools)
  • Strong root cause analysis, problem solving, and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working in regulated or audit sensitive environments

Responsibilities

  • Executes tasks that are typically not routine.
  • Provides critical technical subject matter expertise overseeing and monitoring all key performance measures, goals, and objectives related to customer-specific warehouse and distribution needs and requirements.
  • Develops and escalates to management comprehensive summarization reports for technical recommendations for continuous improvement and enhancement of best practices.
  • Helps with technical project plans and delegation of key assignments within the warehouse department for customer-specific warehouse and distribution needs and requirements.
  • Organizes collective technical expertise to monitor warehouse delivery scheduling and flow to ensure smooth product processing and movement.
  • Completes procedures for warehousing pick and pull, including wave picking, batch picking, and zone picking, to ensure efficient product out-the-door movement and quick cycle times.
  • Leverages subject matter technical expertise to support product forecasting into the warehouse by analyzing data-driven customer product history and recommending future product ordering processes to management.
  • Supports tracking of the technical aspects of warehousing and distribution solutions and develops new ideas for continuous improvement, tailored to specific customer's supply chain delivery needs.
  • Assists with the stringent monitoring of product availability on an ongoing basis, reviewing key performance measures established by management to help ensure core targets and objectives are being met.
  • Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson's Leadership Imperatives and Credo Ownership & Integration.
  • Own end to end iDOC remediation for the data structure in SAP to transfer business information between an SAP system and external applications.
  • Monitoring and resolution for inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, and master data interfaces.
  • Perform real time triage, root cause analysis, and coordination of corrective actions for failed iDOCs.
  • Prevent repeat failures by identifying systemic issues and driving durable solutions with functional and IT partners.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly iDOC health summaries, including backlog, trends, root causes, and escalations.
  • Support testing, validation, cutover readiness, and post deployment stabilization for system enhancements and fixes.
  • Act as the on-site technical liaison translating operational impacts into actionable system requirements.
  • Serve as the site steward for transactional and master data quality impacting inventory accuracy, service performance, and financial reporting.
  • Reduce reliance on manual workarounds that introduce compliance and audit risk.
  • Support reconciliation activities and documentation required in a regulated distribution environment.
  • Own WPB DC KPI data accuracy, ensuring Power BI and system driven reports reflect correct business rules and source data.
  • Improve trust in analytics by proactively addressing data quality and reporting logic issues.
  • Initiate and manage escalations when site level resolution is not possible.
  • Partner across Operations, Quality, Inventory Control, IT, and Analytics to prioritize issues based on operational risk.
  • Reduce escalation volume and resolution time through clear ownership and structured problem solving.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
