Requirements

  • Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
  • Manages large projects or processes.

  • Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field.
  • Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions.
  • Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results.
  • Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues.
  • Enhanced level understanding of the department and the role that is plays in supporting the organization.
  • Is able to easily work with other departments to determine strategy and processes.

  • May posses four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
  • Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.
  • Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products.
  • Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process.
  • Compiles and assembles software from source code.
  • Ensures tools are stored in source control.
  • Supports developers for software package registry and delivery.
  • Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements.
  • Works with development engineers to correct build errors.
