About The Position

This is a benefited, full time position (64 hours per pay period) generally working weekdays on an 8-hr shift schedule with start times ranging from 7-8am. Call is required after hours (4-8pm, about twice a week) and weekends (8am-8pm, about once or twice a month). Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. Requirements

  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • CNMT
  • RT-VEN
  • BLS through the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Responsibilities

  • Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department.
  • Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
  • Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
  • Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.
  • Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Nuclear Medicine department.
