Requirements
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- 3 years technical experience
- Experience in leadership of personnel
- ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech Upon Hire
- CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech Upon Hire
- NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
Responsibilities
- Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area.
- Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment.
- Ensures accreditations standards are maintained.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
