About The Position
The Night Crew Lead is responsible for the success of overnight stocking operations and ensuring guest relations and satisfaction. This role involves supervising the night crew, managing stocking duties, ordering and replenishment, and maintaining team motivation.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 9:00pm-7:00am.
- Ability to work at a fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of stocker duties, including bending, lifting, squatting, climbing, walking, and at times running.
- Ability to operate all ordering and backroom equipment, including a box baler and safety cutter.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude.
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the area or department.
- Ensure the success of overnight stocking operations.
- Supervise the night crew in performing shelf stocking and back-room duties.
- Assign daily work schedules.
- Manage ordering and replenishment of store products.
- Maintain team motivation to achieve daily goals.
- Train and coach team members.
- Perform stocking duties including lifting, stocking product, rotating product, blocking, facing, dusting, and ordering.
- Perform general housekeeping duties on the sales floor and in backroom areas.
- Be attentive to guest needs and able to direct or take guests to items during opening hours.
- Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
