Requirements

  • Experience with building and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPNs
  • Strong knowledge of all types of Network Address Translations (NAT)
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls, routers and switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, ASDM)
  • Extensive understanding of physical and logical network segmentation including VLANs and IP subnetting
  • Vast knowledge in TCP/IP configurations, network addressing, and IP address management
  • Skilled in network routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting network issues including connectivity and latency for production environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions with the Cloud Infrastructure team.
  • Develop specifications, implement and maintain cloud network security architecture for systems applications.
  • Perform and manage network design upgrades and hardware reconfigurations in a hybrid environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve routing and interconnectivity issues.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems that support the AWS Cloud and hosted applications.
  • Design, configure, and implement the network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Provide technical designs and configurations for infrastructure security including VPN services, security policies and firewall configurations.
  • Build and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPNs.
  • Configure and maintain network management and monitoring systems.
  • Provide escalated on and off hours support for all escalated IT issues and cutovers.
  • Demonstrate a drive and passion for continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
