About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll perform MRI procedures while helping lead daily operations, support your team, and maintain a safe, efficient, patient-focused MRI environment. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist
  • Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
  • MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
  • Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
  • Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Lead and coordinate daily MRI workflow and department operations
  • Support, mentor, and provide guidance to MRI technologists and staff
  • Maintain MRI safety standards, protocols, and accreditation requirements
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and onboarding
  • Monitor image quality and ensure MRI protocols are followed
  • Troubleshoot equipment and workflow concerns
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers
  • Support patient satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives
