About The Position

The Lead MRI Technologist performs all aspects of MR imaging accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients of all groups. The role follows regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions, and maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics established by department expectations and professional organizations. The technologist contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processing images, ensuring correct images and accurate billing, documenting files, and recording exam information in the department computer system. When not engaged in imaging activities, the role supports other clinical team members.

Requirements

Current BCLS (AHA).
Minimum of an associate’s degree.
ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification required.
State licensure if required.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
1 year of previous supervisory experience preferred.
MRSO certification preferred.

Responsibilities
