Unique Movers is a fast-growing, locally owned moving company focused on delivering a high-level experience for both residential and commercial clients. We take pride in being reliable, efficient, and professional, and we're looking for a strong leader to help us raise the bar even higher. We are hiring a Lead Mover / Crew Leader who can take ownership of jobs from start to finish. This role is responsible for leading crews, ensuring safety and company procedures are followed, and delivering a top-tier customer experience on every move. This is not an entry-level role; we need someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and holds their team accountable.

Requirements

Previous moving or labor leadership experience preferred
Strong leadership and accountability mindset
Ability to take initiative and run a job without being micromanaged
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Good communication skills with both crew and customers
Physically capable of handling the demands of moving (lifting, stairs, long days)
Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead and manage moving crews on job sites
Ensure all truck, safety, and company policies are followed at all times
Perform and document pre-trip inspections on all vehicles
Oversee job execution from start to finish (loading, transport, unloading)
Maintain clear and professional communication with customers
Ensure crew members follow proper procedures, care standards, and efficiency expectations
Problem-solve on the spot and make decisions without needing constant direction
Protect company equipment, trucks, and customer property
Set the tone for professionalism, attitude, and work ethic
