About The Position

Responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts. Responsible for keeping inventory records and writing replenishment orders on designated weekend accounts (or other possible exceptions). Responsible for the data entry and transmission of written orders. Job responsibilities also include open communication between Merchandising Supervisor, Account Manager, Store Management and Store Personnel.

Requirements

  • High School - GED or Diploma.
  • 2-4 years of general work experience; to include but not limited to; communication skills, teamwork, ability to follow an ordering methodology, math skills, and business judgment skills.
  • Must be able to use a personal vehicle during business hours.
  • Valid Driver's Licenses, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Pallet jack certification as required.

Responsibilities

  • Train new or existing merchandisers on standard merchandising activities and procedures.
  • Help determine stores' product needs and support maintenance of inventory levels will place and transmit appropriate orders.
  • Point of contact for merchandisers while in the trade in the absence of a Merchandising Supervisor.
  • Maintains product in Store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs
  • Transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand-truck)
  • Utilizing hand tools
  • Replenishing, facing, and rotating product
  • Building, changing, and taking down product displays
  • Maintaining product signage
  • Cleaning product space
  • Securing damaged or defective product.
  • Manages backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock (product)
  • Identifying, monitoring, and reporting backstock inventory levels
  • Evaluating and processing damaged or defective product
  • Re-packing product
  • Organizing backroom materials (for example, pallets, product shells); operating powered equipment (for example, straddle stacker, powered pallet jack) and manual equipment (for example, pallet jack); completing Store documentation; and cleaning backroom.
  • Maintains areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to Store and Company personnel
  • Identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions
  • Attending and completing Company training and certifications
  • Following Company and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
  • Following applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Utilizing a mobile device to complete work activities
  • Operating a motor vehicle.
  • Provides customer service to Consumers and Store personnel by identifying and resolving concerns and answering questions
  • locating products and responding to assistance requests.
  • Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
  • Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
  • Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.
