About The Position

This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction. The Lead Merchandiser/Retail Stocker will assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in the best professional manner possible. This role is responsible for stocking and merchandising various products, ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled, POS neat, clean and current, and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards. The position also involves assisting with training new merchandisers, leading or assisting with store resets, covering large format open sales routes as needed, conducting surveys of accounts, and attending sales meetings, craft and wine training, and viewing playbooks. Regular and punctual attendance is crucial to ensure product is delivered timely to CBC customers.

Requirements

Possess and display Coastal Beverage Company’s Core Values at all times: Craft It, Own It, Protect It, Celebrate It.
Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma plus at least 1 year of merchandiser or sales experience.
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Possess computer skills requiring knowledge e-mail software, and Internet.
Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to support merchandising operations and service customer accounts.
Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.

Responsibilities
