Requirements

High school diploma or GED
CPR certification
Medication Administration Training
Three years’ experience working as a medication technician in an Assisted Living setting
Intermediate computer skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1 year of experience in supervisory or lead role

Responsibilities

Administer medications per South Carolina regulation
Provide or assist residents with ADLs such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, nail care, eating).Follow the residents’ care plan to ensure residents’ individual needs are met.
Communicate inaccuracies in the care plan to the Director Residential Services.
Perform basic assistance with daily living activities
Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors, and co-workers; assist in maintaining a “home-like” environment.
Complete EHR required documentation for medication and treatment administration.
Follow-up on EHR dashboard throughout the shift to prevent delays/noncompliance.
Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
Provide accurate follow through for written/faxed orders from physician to pharmacy.
Answer all call lights promptly and with a great attitude.
Report any changes in residents’ conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly.
Complete required documentation in accordance with Community policies and State and/or Federal regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
