Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Work experience in medical record setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the process of all Documentation that comes through the office(s)
  • Preps or divides the prepping of schedules of each provider/Test. Each pt has a folder with Last note, test, and labs, and orders if necessary(according to the providers needs)
  • Maintains the Edata schedule to the Ecw schedule to verify those pt who may not have come through to Edata
  • Correlates unsigned notes or those that are in progress and Notifies Providers of notes that have not been sign or missing elements of the notes for completion
  • Makes sure that all Cardiac Clearances have been sent out with proper information to providers and hospitals of pt request
  • Makes sure that all notes/tests/etc have been sent to requested primary care or referring providers
  • Makes sure that deadlines are meet on all Insurance audits, with documentation being provided, once authorization reviewed
  • Makes sure that all faxes are dispersed to the proper nurse, doctor, staff, and or administrator.
  • Patients Items need to be scanned into Edata prior to billing. This includes EKG, Workup Sheets, Medication list, Device Checks, orders, Clearance request, and any other patient documents.
  • Communicating with other AMG- offices, hospitals, or outside organization needed to gather or disperse information on mutual patient care.
  • Answering Phone Lines of Medical Records.
  • Supervises team of 1-5 members.
  • Responsible for Timecard and schedules through UKG
  • Weekly huddles & dispersing work load among team members.
  • Additional task required besides above
