About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Lead Medical Assistant to support their clinical team and play an important role in delivering high-quality patient evaluations. This role combines hands-on clinical care with leadership, organization, and daily team support in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position offers full benefits and no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an MA program preferred
- CMA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support healthcare professionals during patient assessments and medical evaluations
- Prepare patients by obtaining vital signs and medical histories
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical testing
- Help coordinate daily clinical operations and support the medical team
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
- Manage medical supplies and equipment
- Provide a welcoming, compassionate experience for every patient
