About The Position

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the development of advanced temperature and pressure sensing solutions used in electrified vehicles, industrial automation, healthcare equipment, AI-enabled data centers, and other demanding applications worldwide. You'll work directly with customers, drive product innovation, and lead products from concept through production launch while serving as a technical leader within the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience developing electromechanical products from concept through production launch.
• Experience with 3D CAD, product design, and design for manufacturability.
• Experience with testing, validation, and problem-solving in a product development environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• 7+ years of product development experience.
• Experience with sensor products, automotive, industrial, or medical applications.
• Experience with injection-molded plastics, metal components, sealing systems, and sensor packaging.
• Experience with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, product validation, and global manufacturing environments.
• Experience using AI-enabled engineering tools to improve productivity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of temperature and pressure sensing products.
• Develop innovative sensor packaging and mechanical architectures for harsh operating environments.
• Drive products from concept, prototyping, and validation through production launch.
• Partner directly with customers to develop application-specific sensing solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, DFMEAs, and root-cause investigations.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple product platforms.
• Influence future product roadmaps, technology strategy, and innovation initiatives.
