Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
At least 2 years in a technical lead or supervisory capacity.
NPI projects specifically for E-houses, modular buildings, plant rooms, or heavy industrial enclosures.
Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (including sheet metal, frame, and large assembly management) and AutoCAD.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with international standards for industrial enclosures and electrical safety (e.g. NEC, IEC, NEMA classifications) is added advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization, design, and development, detailing.
Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Design change Management and PLM.
Create detailed 3D models, general arrangements, and manufacturing production drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience in Sheet metal, Material selection, Welding and Corrosion protection and Machining.
Manage design changes, Bill of Materials (BOM) and revision control protocols.
Experience design validation, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Hand calculations, Tolerance stack up and reference standard (ASME & ANSI).
Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and First time Yield.
Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, cross-functional communication, and project scheduling capabilities.
Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
