Lead Mechanical Design Engineer - PCB

Honeywell Aerospace•San Diego, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace-EDS, you will contribute to the design and development of complex integrated RF/high-speed printed circuit board layouts and advanced electronic packaging. You will apply mechanical and PCB design principles and methodologies, use ECAD and other design tools, and oversee design work to help ensure product quality and reliability. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Design Engineering and is based at the company’s San Diego location. The role performs independent design and layout work for moderately to highly complex integrated RF/high-speed layouts; generates and revises fabrication and assembly drawings; and applies company guidelines and industry standards. It also contributes design modifications to improve circuit card assembly quality or facilitate PCB manufacturing. As a people leader, you will help recruit and develop talent, identify successors, support retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive culture.
