About The Position
Directs the maintenance shop and performs advanced repairs on the city's fleet of heavy equipment, sanitation trucks, and street utility vehicles.
Requirements
- Advanced repairs on the city's fleet of heavy equipment, sanitation trucks, and street utility vehicles
- Diagnoses and repairs diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
- Supervises and trains maintenance technicians
- Manages parts inventory and purchasing
- Maintains detailed service and safety records within the city's fleet software program
- Successfully passing pre-employment drug screening
- Any other applicable background checks required under City policy
