About The Position

Requirements

Prior experience in meat cutting is, along with familiarity with perishable foods and food service.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues about our meat selection and offerings.
Ability to train and guide others in meat preparation and ensuring high standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare all non-case ready meat products, including cutting, grinding, trimming, and wrapping, according to high meat cutting standards.
Provide guidance on sales floor operations, safety and sanitation, and inventory management, while mentoring team members and ensuring smooth meat department operations.
Apply your extensive knowledge of different meat and seafood cuts, along with cooking techniques, to assist guests and maintain high-quality displays.
Ensure all meat products are packaged, labeled, and displayed in an appealing way, supporting sales while maintaining top food service standards.
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Other duties as assigned.
