Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee Centre is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their Centre. If you are hired to work at a Centre, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
Requirements
- Passion and mastery in the language math while working with and motivating students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and an openness to adapt and improve
- Exceptional math competency through Gr. 11 Functions
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- As part of our hiring process at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver instruction in a group setting
- Monitor students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Communicate student progress with Centre Director
- Teach in-Centre using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
