About The Position
Mathnasium of Ardsley-Irvington is seeking passionate instructors/tutors who are eager to make a difference in the lives of K-12th grade students. We are looking for individuals driven and motivated to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra II, Trig, Geometry
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- Applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
- Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
