This position will be responsible for the entire supply chain flow for designated areas within procedural unit(s) of the hospital, including the OR, CV Services Lab, and/or IR. The role involves collaborating with physicians, suppliers, nursing, contracting, and the entire Saint Luke’s Health System supply chain to ensure all supply-related elements are proactively managed for procedures. The Lead Materials Associate can perform all functions of a clinical materials associate and takes an active leadership role in supply chain improvements such as collaborative projects, guidance/training/mentoring, service level enhancements, cost savings, and value-enhancing data analytics. This role also involves demonstrating self-motivation and a positive attitude, providing guidance to materials associates assigned to designated areas, and collaborating with the clinical team for an appropriate balance of inventory.
