About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Market Risk Officer on the Enterprise Counterparty Risk Management (ECRM) team to lead strategic business initiatives, risk technology transformation efforts, and new product implementation across the counterparty credit risk platform. This role serves as a key liaison between Risk, Front Office, Technology, Quantitative Analytics, Compliance, and Control teams to ensure successful delivery of critical regulatory, business growth, and risk management initiatives. Manage end-to-end delivery of funded initiatives, including scope definition, requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post-production support. Coordinate delivery across Agile and traditional project teams, ensuring alignment of business priorities, resource plans, dependencies, and implementation schedules. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership updates, project governance forums, regulatory deliverables, audit requests, and change management oversight. Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and control impacts associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful execution. Partner with quantitative, technology, and business stakeholders to support model enhancements, new risk methodologies, and infrastructure modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trading, desk analyst, Capital Markets, market risk, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of regulatory initiatives impacting market and counterparty credit risk.
  • Product Owner or Program Management experience.
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audit engagements, or major remediation programs.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets products, counterparty credit risk, market stress testing, and risk governance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional programs involving business, technology, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes across organizations without direct authority.
