The Lead Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Specialist will work in a production shop environment and serve as manufacturing engineer, learning the processes, hardware, specs, and quality requirements in Lynn Plant 1 – Rotating Parts Manufacturing Organization (RPMO). As a Lead ME, you will have hardware ownership of rotating parts (combination of spools and disks) in support of Defense Engines such as the F110, F404, F414, T408, CF34. RPMO is also undergoing a transformation during 2026-2027, as we are moving our production line across the plant to implement modular cells, which will expose them to lean principles and techniques. This is an invaluable opportunity to be in a dynamic area with regular report outs and visibility to senior leadership. Manufacturing Engineer will be coached and given autonomy to have a fulfilling role with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. High opportunity area for RCCA and process improvement. KPIs include (safety) improvement of I&I's, (quality) first time yield improvements and Cost of Quality (rework and scrap), (delivery) parts shipped, (inventory) reduction of aged WIP, (productivity) process improvements to increase efficiency.
