About The Position

The Lead Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Specialist works in a production shop environment at Lynn Plant 1 – Turning Parts Center of Excellence (TPCE), learning and supporting its processes, hardware, specifications, and quality requirements. The role owns rotating hardware—including cooling plates and compressor discharge seals—and supports Defense Engines such as the T700, CT7, CF6, and CF56. TPCE is undergoing a transformation during 2026–2027, moving its production line across the plant to implement modular cells. The role will be exposed to lean principles and techniques and will have regular report-outs and visibility to senior leadership. The Manufacturing Engineer will receive coaching and autonomy, with opportunities to learn and grow in an area focused on root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and process improvement. Key performance indicators include improving safety incidents and injuries, first-time yield and cost of quality (rework and scrap), parts shipped, aged work-in-process reduction, and productivity through process improvements. The position supports delivery commitments for a business valued at more than $50 million. The base pay range is $100,050–$133,400. The position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary or commission according to the plan. The posting is expected to close October 29, 2026.
