About The Position

This role focuses on the Hot Gas Path Coated Buckets Machining within Manufacturing Engineering. The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for defining, documenting, and controlling production processes, including tooling and equipment. They will lead improvement projects aimed at enhancing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and will own and drive output performance for assigned lean lines. This position also involves troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements to boost manufacturing performance, serving as a coach and resource to other Manufacturing Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Experience in CNC machining and programming.

• Experience with milling, grinding, and EDM machining.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and control production processes, including tooling and equipment.
• Lead improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Own and drive output performance for assigned lean line(s).
• Apply best practices and serve as a coach and resource to other Manufacturing Engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing performance.
