  • Establish and drive long-term manufacturing strategies, technology roadmaps, and process standardization across operations.
  • Serve as the technical authority for machining, providing guidance on complex engineering problems and influencing design for manufacturability decisions.
  • Lead resolution of highly complex manufacturing issues, applying in-depth analysis of data, process interactions, and variable factors.
  • Define and implement innovative solutions using advanced statistical tools, modeling, and engineering judgment.
  • Champion and lead 8D problem-solving teams, ensuring effective root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention strategies aligned with customer expectations.
  • Drive and govern cost reduction initiatives (scrap, cycle time, changeover, yield improvement) with measurable business impact.
  • Own CNC programming strategy and governance, ensuring precision, standardization, and scalability across operations.
  • Oversee development and validation of processes for machining and supporting equipment (e.g., tumblers, lasers, bead blast).
  • Direct the design, fabrication, and lifecycle management of complex fixtures and tooling systems.
  • Own Management of Change (MOC), including V&Q, FMEA, PCN, and ensure robust risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Lead justification, selection, procurement, installation, qualification, and validation of capital equipment.
