Requirements

  • Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
  • Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.

  • A Lead Manufacturing Associate oversees production floor activities, trains staff, and ensures safety compliance while performing hands-on, technical manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks involved in the production of products.
  • Work may involve rubber, stretch cord, sewing and packing.
  • Calibrates equipment and maintains tools.
  • Inspect parts before installation and removal.
  • Read routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
  • Test and repair commercial and industrial meter equipment, build meter assemble and test and repair instruments.
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Oversees production floor activities, trains staff, and ensures safety compliance while performing hands-on, technical manufacturing tasks.
