Requirements

Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.

A Lead Manufacturing Associate oversees production floor activities, trains staff, and ensures safety compliance while performing hands-on, technical manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform all tasks involved in the production of products.
Work may involve rubber, stretch cord, sewing and packing.
Calibrates equipment and maintains tools.
Inspect parts before installation and removal.
Read routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
Test and repair commercial and industrial meter equipment, build meter assemble and test and repair instruments.
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
