P&K Stone, LLC is a privately owned supplier of aggregate materials to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and Southern Oklahoma. Our aggregate materials are used in a wide range of construction aggregate applications including infrastructure projects, commercial projects and residential projects.

Requirements

knowledge of aggregates production and associated equipment and processes.
At least 5 years of aggregate experience.
Must be able to provide strong leadership and mentorship to employees, both direct and indirect reports, to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.
Operational Knowledge. Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of rock mining, MSHA regulations, and quality control systems and processes.
Interpersonal Skills. Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.
Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance procedures with Heavy Equipment
Strong track record of leading safety and health, as well as regulatory compliance

Nice To Haves

Candidate must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noise between 85dba – 105dba.

Responsibilities

Promote Safety- Take an active role prioritizing safety for yourself and others to ensure all assigned plants have zero accidents and are in total compliance with all P&K Stone policies and procedures and MSHA Regulations.
Organize and Plan Production- Plan the daily operation scheduling of production to ensure optimal utilization of plant and pit equipment, personnel and inventory requirements, and work procedures regarding processing, stockpiling, loading and shipping of raw and finished materials. Responsible for all aspects of the process and maintenance of the plant.
Monitor Processes and Materials- Analyze production and quality control to ensure a quality product is received by our customers.
Maintenance- The Lead Man shall also inspect equipment pre-and post-shift, assist and organize the work of employees in the daily inspection and maintenance of plant and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruption to process.
Operate Equipment- Experienced is operating loaders, graders, haul trucks, excavators, skid steers and dozers.
