About The Position

The Lead technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of their assigned centers. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the Lead technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience. The department/center highlights include a patient-focused team, cohesive and friendly environment, and a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Forms strong working relationships within the team
  • Identifies additional tasks to be complete and willingly assist others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program
  • Understands and communicates medical terminology
  • Current, non-restricted licensure in state of work location is required
  • Current ARRT advanced level certification in Mammography
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with RIS/PACS preferred

  • Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on as needed basis
  • Monitors clinical staffing levels.

  • Manages clinical team members on daily basis ensuring compliance with company policies, guidelines and procedures;
  • Passionate about developing and strengthening clear, effective communication with patients, team members, physicians, and partners.
  • Monitors clinical staffing levels and ensures appropriate coverage;
  • Participates in interviews and conducts onboarding orientation for new hires
  • Maintains awareness of the broader operational picture while fostering strong relationships with patients, colleagues, vendors, and physicians
