Lead Maintenance Technician - Beckley Townhomes
About The Position
Dominium is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join their team at Beckley Townhomes, a 100-unit apartment community in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for the general appearance and maintenance of the property to ensure a great living experience for residents. The position involves monitoring the property for repairs, completing work requests, performing preventative maintenance, assessing and repairing appliances, preparing vacant units, and supervising site maintenance personnel. Occasional on-call duties are also part of the role, with a trip stipend provided if called back to the site after regular work hours. The Lead Maintenance Technician is also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years previous experience in maintenance preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair
- HVAC and EPA experience preferred
- CPO certification preferred
- Valid drivers' license and insurance may be required
Responsibilities
- Monitor property for any repairs or replacements that may arise
- Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units
- Perform preventative maintenance on property
- Assess and repair appliances as needed
- Assist in preparing vacant units ready for new residents
- Supervise site maintenance personnel and other staff as assigned
- Occasional on-call duties (trip stipend provided if called back to site after regular work hours)
- Create and maintain a safe work environment
