About The Position

The Maintenance Tech Lead is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for the facility and associated equipment. This position also provides leadership, training, and mentoring to other maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Tech Lead plays an important role in maintaining a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment of care for patients, employees, and visitors of all ages. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance needs, supporting facility operations, and ensuring preventive maintenance activities are completed appropriately and on schedule. When a security officer is unavailable, the Maintenance Tech Lead may provide basic security support as needed. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on facility needs.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) or more year's related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General Maintenance background experience required.
  • hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, general, and corrective maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Lead, train, coach, and mentor maintenance technicians.
  • Help coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work based on facility needs.
  • Ensure maintenance work is performed in compliance with applicable safety standards, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a safe environment of care for patients, employees, and visitors.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Support facility operations and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • Provide security support in the absence of a security officer.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
