About The Position

Satellite Lead is a unique position with extensive responsibilities and managerial authority for directly supervising a multidiscipline trades team of Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical / Maintenance Technicians, Carpenters/Painters who perform all maintenance associated with satellite facilities building infrastructure, mechanical, electrical & HVAC. The lead facilitates; diagnosing and repairing of equipment deficiencies; working with plumbing trades, medical gas, electrical & electronic systems, fire & security systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, and other systems; reading and interpreting diagrams and blueprints; scheduling preventative maintenance on all equipment; and performing systematic analysis of problems and improvement opportunities; Supervision of Facilities Management projects and implementation of operations and maintenance with projects. Proficient knowledge of regulatory compliance including DOH, Joint Commission, Life Safety, and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Vocational/Technical Degree
