Lead Maintenance, Material Management & Logistics (3M) SME
About The Position
The Lead 3M SME provides subject matter expertise on Navy maintenance management, logistics systems, quality assurance, and readiness programs. This role involves assessing shipboard 3M program execution, evaluating maintenance documentation and quality assurance practices, reviewing logistics processes and supply support effectiveness, and analyzing maintenance management databases and readiness metrics. The SME will provide recommendations for process improvement. Support is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Sasebo, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; and Singapore, as well as other customer locations as required. Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years supervisory experience.
- Minimum 15 years managing Navy 3M programs.
- Experience as a Command 3M Coordinator across multiple platforms.
- Experience equivalent to Navy Quality Assurance Officer.
- Direct experience with Navy maintenance and logistics systems within the past five years.
- SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.
