Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card through the state.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanically inclined and good at working with hands.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and passion about the Cannabis Industry.
  • Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Windows-based PC programs.
  • Well-versed in basic mathematical functions and measurements.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery packaging products.
  • Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving equipment repair or replacement. (Major repairs may include planning and coordination with external contractors.)
  • Ensures that the packaging departments are meeting company standards and are complying with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to detect and prevent problems.
  • Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and restock supplies.
  • Provide guidance in machine setup, shutdown, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance tasks on assigned manufacturing equipment depending on area needs.
  • Responsible for daily duties related to the packaging process of cannabis-based products.
  • Organize the production facility to ensure all inventory is accounted for.
  • Participate in required training and weekly production reports meetings.
  • Responsible for generating weekly reports.
  • Work within a team setting to ensure production efficiencies and speed.
  • Work with small and large machinery to assemble and package products for retail sale.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively between multiple locations and departments.
