About The Position

The Lead, LPN / Medical Assistant - Walk-In Clinic role involves performing all essential duties of the primary position/functional area of focus, implementing practices to ensure clinical standards are met, and providing support and guidance to employees within the same functional area. This role also involves providing input for performance assessments, conducting research for improvement, evaluating clinical outcomes, and staying updated with field developments. Additionally, the Lead will assist with ordering supplies, ensuring timely access to necessary resources, and may help create and maintain departmental schedules. The position ensures staff compliance with protocols, policies, and procedures, and assists with the orientation and training of new staff, as well as directing departmental workflow and daily workload distribution. Department-specific duties include performing quality controls, monitoring and removing outdated supplies, assisting with Quality department compliance, and tracking facility service and repair issues. The Lead acts as a resource for the clinic as needed and receives an additional $2.00 per hour for lead pay.
