Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience.
• 1 year of experience with linen or inventory

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate computerized inventory system.
• Ability to use hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory.
• Able to react calmly under stressful conditions.
• Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-work complex problems.
• Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues, order discrepancies, and as otherwise necessary in the performance of duties.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the daily movement of linen throughout the facility and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient.
• Reviews all linen records for reporting and accountability.
• Has a thorough knowledge of all processes on all shifts.
