We are urgently hiring a Lead Line Operator (Lead Extrusion Technician) in our Elyria, Ohio Facility on Garden Street.

Requirements

  • 1 year of equipment/machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; Bi-lingual a Plus!
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required

Responsibilities

  • Communicate standards for process times, settings, and specifications to ensure optimal output and quality.
  • Track performance results and provide feedback to staff and the Extrusion Supervisor
  • Perform routine checks of equipment, materials, and product; take or recommend action as needed
  • Monitor extruder operating parameters
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment through 5S audits and adherence to safety policies
  • Support production troubleshooting and resolve processing issues
  • Assist with production work, including operating lines as needed
  • Train operators on equipment, procedures, and adjustments
  • Support selection of production auxiliary equipment
  • Participate in plant activities, including training, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Additional duties as required
