We are urgently hiring a Lead Line Operator (Lead Extrusion Technician) in our Elyria, Ohio Facility on Garden Street.

Requirements

1 year of equipment/machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; Bi-lingual a Plus!
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required

Responsibilities

Communicate standards for process times, settings, and specifications to ensure optimal output and quality.
Track performance results and provide feedback to staff and the Extrusion Supervisor
Perform routine checks of equipment, materials, and product; take or recommend action as needed
Monitor extruder operating parameters
Maintain a safe and organized work environment through 5S audits and adherence to safety policies
Support production troubleshooting and resolve processing issues
Assist with production work, including operating lines as needed
Train operators on equipment, procedures, and adjustments
Support selection of production auxiliary equipment
Participate in plant activities, including training, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
