About The Position

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to support a federal behavioral health program in San Diego, California. This is a full-time, onsite leadership position providing behavioral health services to children and adolescents while also supporting the clinical team and day-to-day delivery of services. This opportunity is particularly unique because California licensure is not required. Qualified clinicians who hold an active, unrestricted, independent license in another U.S. state or territory may be eligible. Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents
  • Experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma, crisis, and/or other vulnerable circumstances
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health support to children and adolescents in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to behavioral health team members
  • Support day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of services
  • Provide crisis intervention, assessment, and short-term behavioral health support as appropriate
  • Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches when working with vulnerable populations
  • Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary partners to support continuity and quality of services
  • Assist with clinical oversight, staff support, and operational needs
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Support additional behavioral health and program activities as required
