LEAD Lab Tech - Optical Manufacturing (F/T 3-day schedule)
About The Position
National Vision is seeking an experienced Lead lab technician to join their growing optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. This is a full-time position with a unique 3-day work schedule, offering 4 days off each week. The Lead Lab Technician will be responsible for processing orders through production, assisting a Supervisor with workflow, personnel utilization, and department operations. This role also involves training and development of associates, machine operation, resolving errors, locating urgent jobs, managing breakage, and monitoring processes to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Prior relevant experience is necessary.
- Minimum of one (1) year of direct or related experience.
- Prior optical background with mass production experience.
- Must be able to read and write English.
Responsibilities
- Processing orders through production.
