About The Position

The Lead Kids Attendant cares for children ages 6 months to 12 years old at Crunch Fitness – Undefeated Tribe. The role provides a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children while their parents work out. The attendant engages children in games and activities, manages check-in and check-out, and follows safety and cleanliness procedures to create a positive experience for children and their families.

The ideal candidate loves children, is accountable and attentive, and prefers routine and precision. Childcare or babysitting experience and CPR/AED certification are required; certification may be obtained within 30 days of hire. A high school diploma or GED is also required. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Childcare and/or babysitting experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient reading and writing skills.
• CPR/AED certification required; it may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications required by applicable local or state laws.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 10 pounds on occasion.
• Able to stand, bend, and squat frequently.
• Able to climb and hang decorations when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a service-oriented environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile.
• Provide a friendly atmosphere for members and children.
• Register and check out children and parents properly.
• Watch and care for children to ensure their safety.
• Interact consistently with children.
• Initiate games, arts, and crafts projects.
• Bottle-feed babies according to parental direction.
• Keep children calm.
• Clean and sanitize toys.
• Keep the work area free of sharp or harmful objects.
• Answer the childcare phone courteously.
• Communicate information about children to parents or guardians.
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
