About The Position

RLP Mechanical, a premier mechanical contractor in the Greater DFW area, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Journeyman Plumber Foreman to oversee new construction and retrofit/remodel plumbing projects. This role involves leading crews and ensuring the successful installation of commercial plumbing systems from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ground-up commercial plumbing, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and enjoy leading teams to success.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of commercial plumbing experience, with at least 2–4 years in a Lead / Foreman role
• Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License is required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team effectively
• Deep knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
• Commitment to safety & compliance with all local and state regulations
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading a team of 2–4 apprentices on commercial new construction and retrofit projects
• Coordinating installations to meet project timelines and quality standards
• Ensuring all plumbing work meets industry codes and best practices
• Inspecting installations and troubleshooting potential issues before they become problems
• Working alongside contractors to streamline project execution
• Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
