About The Position

The organization is seeking a Java Technical Lead to lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications using Java full-stack technologies and AWS Cloud. The role provides technical leadership to development teams, establishes best practices and architectural standards, and supports scalable, secure, high-performing cloud-native applications. It collaborates with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions, and contributes to DevOps adoption, production support, mentoring, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

Expertise in Java full-stack development and AWS technologies.
Experience with Java 8, 11, or 17, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
Experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Knowledge of AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, system design, and technical leadership.

Nice To Haves

AWS certification.
Terraform and CloudFormation.
Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Experience with Client, Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and SonarQube.
DevSecOps, performance tuning, cloud migration, and solution architecture experience.
Stakeholder management and mentoring experience.
Financial Services or Insurance domain experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications using Java full-stack technologies and AWS Cloud.
Provide technical leadership to development teams by defining best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using ReactJS or Angular.
Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Drive DevOps adoption through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive design and monitoring.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
Mentor and coach developers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and release management activities.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for business challenges.
