Requirements
- Proven experience in a janitorial role, with at least one year in a supervisory or lead position.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the janitorial team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Perform regular inspections of the facility to ensure it meets cleanliness and safety standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned in a timely and thorough manner.
- Train new janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with management to order new supplies as needed.
- Respond promptly to any special cleaning requests or emergencies as required.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to encourage professional development and improvement.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment, promoting team collaboration and motivation.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to health and safety.
