Requirements

  • Proven experience in a janitorial role, with at least one year in a supervisory or lead position.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the janitorial team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Perform regular inspections of the facility to ensure it meets cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Train new janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with management to order new supplies as needed.
  • Respond promptly to any special cleaning requests or emergencies as required.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to encourage professional development and improvement.
  • Foster a positive and cooperative work environment, promoting team collaboration and motivation.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to health and safety.
