About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Lead to supervise a dedicated crew of 5 part-time cleaners. In this hands-on role, you will walk between multiple campus buildings to monitor performance, ensure quality control, and operate a walk-behind floor scrubber as part of your regular duties. The ideal candidate is a reliable leader who is fully prepared to fill in for team call-outs when necessary. Marsden South Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm, 35 hours weekly. Hourly Rate: $15.00 Location: Houston, TX

Requirements

You must be 18 years old
You must be flexible and be able to work with our scheduling needs.
You must have work authorization
You must have janitorial experience
You must be willing to lead and train a team
A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Able to lift up to 30lbs.
Custodial leadership experience is a must
Willing and comfortable working in a school environment
Prior experience operating a commercial floor scrubber is required

Responsibilities

Oversee a group of custodial employees, train employees, and cover shifts
Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
Clean and restock restrooms
Collect and dispose of trash
Interacts with clients and building employees in a respectful, professional, treating others with empathy and dignity.
General cleaning and any additional requests as needed
