Full-time Lead Janitorial Cleaner
About The Position
Marsden South is seeking an experienced Janitorial Lead to supervise a dedicated crew. In this hands-on role, you will walk between multiple buildings to monitor performance, ensure quality control, and commit to all the duties. The ideal candidate is a reliable leader who is fully prepared to fill in for team call-outs when necessary. Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be flexible and be able to work with our scheduling needs.
- Must have work authorization
- Must have janitorial experience
- Must be willing to lead and train a team
- Must be able to comply with a fingerprint clearance
- A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Custodial leadership experience is a must
Responsibilities
- Oversee a group of custodial employees, train employees, and cover shifts
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Interacts with clients and building employees in a respectful, professional, treating others with empathy and dignity.
- General cleaning and any additional requests as needed
